7th International Wireless Internet Conference
The 7th International ICST Wireless Internet Conference (WICON 2013) will be held in Shanghai, China, during April 11-12, 2013. In technical co-sponsorship with the IEEE Computer Society, the conference will bring together technical experts and researchers from academia, industry, and government all around the world to discuss novel research results related to the future wireless internet.
Scope
WICON 2013 will continue to serve as a premier international conference to discuss novel research results related to the emerging wireless internet. WICON 2013 is soliciting both academic research and industry practice papers. Papers solicited in the WICON 2013 are divided into FOUR tracks, PHY, MAC, Network and Service/Application tracks.

Highlights
Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (SIMIT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) was founded in 1928. It’s a multidisciplinary institute engaged in both fundamental and applied researches aiming at the demands of national economic and social developments. Over the last 10 years, SIMIT has made a series of major scientific breakthroughs in broadband wireless mobile communications, wireless sensor networks, SOI material, PCRAM, micro/nano sensors, RF and micro-wave integrated systems, biochips, micro-satellites, thus making important contributions to hi-tech industrialization as well as national economic developments. LNICST volumes are submitted for inclusion to leading indexing services, including DBLP, Google Scholar, ACM Digital Library, ISI Proceedings, EI Engineering Index, CrossRef and Scopus.
